Freesat adds Wuaki.tv

UK free-to-air satellite platform Freesat has added video on demand service Wuaki.tv on its platform. Available from today to all Freesat viewers with a connected set-top-box, Wuaki.tv offers instant access to a wide range of movies and TV shows.

Titles available on the service include Spectre and Star Wars: The Force Awakens along with TV series including Game of Thrones. Wuaki.tv features the option of pre-ordering upcoming releases and movies can be rented from £0.99 without the need to pay for a monthly subscription.

The launch expands Freesat’s existing On Demand offering of 10 services, which include BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and Netflix.

Wuaki.tv will be available across Humax Freesat set-top-boxes including the HDR-1000s 500GB, HDR-1010s 1TB, HB-1000s and HDR-1100s.
