German cable operator Tele Columbus has extended its mobile offering to the coverage area of Primacom, the cable company it acquired last year.
The extension of wireless services to the Primacom zone includes Tele Columbus’ Community Access Wi-Fi platform.
The move means that mobile customers in the former Primacom area will be able to access LTE broadband at speeds of up to 50Mbps, make flat-rate mobile phone calls and gain access to over 50,000 Wi-Fi hotspots.
Chief marketing officer Stefan Beberweill said that the extension of mobile services to the Primacom zone meant that users in these areas would be able to take advantage of a complete offering of the operator’s services.
