RTL Group’s new entertainment channel aimed at German speakers and ex-pats around the world has launched in Canada, Southern Africa, Australia, Israel and Georgia.
RTL International, a pay channel, is available via satellite, cable, IP and over-the-top platforms. As of March it will also be available online and as an app.
Current platform partners are Bell and Telus Sat (Canada), Deukom (South Africa, Namibia, Botsuana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe) and Satelio (Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, Togo, Ghana, Seychelles), FlipTV (Australia), Caucasus online (Georgia) and two Israeli platforms.
RTL said that further distribution partners will be unveiled shortly in the US, Brazil and elsewhere.
