Humax said that in the coming months consumers will be able to access Netflix on its set-tops and, for the first time, switch seamlessly between live broadcast, recordings and internet TV.
Many Humax devices will also feature a dedicated Netflix remote control button and a ‘quick-launch’ function that will let viewers to start Netflix faster than on some other devices,
“The Netflix partnership is monumental to Humax, providing our customers with the unique opportunity to enjoy even more quality content, straight from their set-top boxes. The partnership also opens up the pay TV market even further by offering effortless access to a renowned TV service.”
The update will apply to current and future set-top boxes and will be rolled out in the near future. A spokesperson for Humax told DTVE: “We will be announcing the exact models in the near future, as the Netflix service becomes available.”
