Freesat launches new Android app

freesat androidUK free-to-air satellite platform Freesat has launched a new version of its app for Android devices.

The Freesat app for Android version 1.1.3 and Amazon Fire operating systems now includes the ability to access Freetime recordings via the app and start watching them directly on the main screen in the home using the app as a remote.

The app also now flags recording schedule clashes and suggests options to resolve them, provides access to the line-up of Freetime on demand services and launches certain of the players on the phone or tablet, and enables users to set reminders on their devices.

The app is available for download via the Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore.
