Sky Italia has struck a partnership deal with broadband service provider Fastweb that will enable subscribers to Fastweb’s Joy and SuperJet broadband packages to get access to Sky Online, the operator’s OTT service.
New Fastweb customers will also have the ability to purchase the Sky Online TV Box at a discount.
Fastweb said the deal would enable it to expand the range of quality TV services it offers to customers, enabling its broadband customers to view Sky movies and other content online.
The deal also enables Sky to extend the reach of its recently launched online TV service.
Fastweb will offer the Sky Online TV box to its subscribers for a promotional price of €19.99. the Joy package, offering 100Mbps internet will be offered for €19 per month for the first six months, with Sky Online included. Joy will be available for €30 when the promotional period ends.
SuperJet, which also includes unlimited internet access and unlimited fixed and mobile calls, will be offered for €29 for 12 months and €45 thereafter, with Sky Online included for 18 months.
