PIKE names new vice-president

Polish cable association PIKE has named UPC Poland’s director of corporate and public policy Patrycja Gołos as its new vice-president.

Gołos, who oversees international and external communication, relations with government and European regulators and corporate responsibility at UPC, previously also worked for pay TV operator Wizja TV.

PIKE, which is currently holding its annual industry conference at Jachranka near Warsaw, re-elected Jerzego Straszewskiego as chairman and reduced the size of its board from 18 to 11.
