Lithuania’s TEO ups two execs in company restructure

Lithuanian telco TEO has upped two of its senior execs as part of a planned restructure, which is designed to improve the customer experience and will take effect in June.

Current chief marketing officer, Nerijus Ivanauskas, becomes head of the new business to consumer division.

Meanwhile, director of TEO Group company Baltic Data Center (BDC), Aleksandras Samuchovas, will lead the firm’s new business to business division – in addition to his current role.

The B2C and B2B divisions are being created in place of TEO’s existing service development and sales divisions, and will be tasked with creating services and providing customer care.

“The goal of these changes is to ensure better customer experience and to be able to offer them more suitable and simpler solutions,” said TEO in a statement.

At the same time, Giedrė Tarbūnienė, a former executive at Estonia’s SEB bank who joined TEO in February, will now become part of the management team, leading the process division and the programme of customer experience.

Darius Didžgalvis, manager of TEO’s network technologies division, will leave the company from April 8.
