AIBA teams up with Rightster for online boxing

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) and online video specialist Rightster have teamed up to bring the World Series Boxing quarter finals to an international online audience by streaming the bouts live and on-demand via AIBA’s website, AIBAboxingTV.com.

Rightster and AIBA have worked together to build a premium digital streaming service for access to the quarter finals and finals of the series. Rightster will also manage AIBA’s 3 YouTube channels, helping to develop the AIBA brand, it said.

The AIBAboxingTV.com was built in partnership with Rightster. Matches can be viewed on-demand or lvie, with subscription passes priced between US$12 (€15) and US$21.

Top matches in the quarter-finals include Russia vs Ukraine and US vs Cuba.

“AIBAboxingTV.com is a fantastic way for fans to engage with the events and by making the series available in this way, we are reflecting how fans consume content today and ensuring we serve their needs,” said Ho Kim, AIBA’s executive director.

“Working with Rightster on the AIBA video hub is core to how we plan to build the WSB and AIBA brands over the next five years”.
