EBU names finance and administration chief

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has named Emmanuel Frantz as its next chief financial and administrative officer.

Frantz will join the EBUL on June 1 and will take up his new post on August 1 after a transitional period.
He joins the EBUL after six years as Yahoo EMEA’s vice-president of finance operations.

Frantz replaces Wallace Macmillan, who leaves the EBU on July 31 after three years in the role.

Frantz said: “I’m thrilled to join the EBU’s management team at a decisive time for media organisations in Europe and beyond. I believe firmly in the importance of public service broadcasting. Now I can make a direct contribution to its future success.”
