Disney XD and Disney Junior are launching in HD in the German speaking region for the first time, with a launch on Swiss pay TV platform Teleclub.
Disney XD and Disney Junior will be available in HD on Teleclub from February 5, carried on the Swisscom TV platform.
The two channels will be part of the HD option on the Teleclub Family package.
The move follows the launch of Disney Channel as a free-to-air service in Germany on January 17, taking over from the former Das Vierte channel. Disney’s other channel, Cinemagic, has been available in HD in the region for some time.
