Tricolor TV sees subscriber bounce

Russian pay TV operator Tricolor TV reported an 18.4% increase in satellite TV customers last year, ending 2013 with 14.1 million subscribers. 

Revenues for the full year were up 28% to RUB 8.1 billion (€170 million), which Tricolor said was boosted by thematic programme packages and HD TV.

However income from the basic Tricolor TV service decreased by 2.2% year-on-year, according to local press reports.
