Canal+ has named Manuel Alduy as director of Canal OTT, a new position that places him in charge fo the French pay TV group’s mobile, web and personalised TV offerings.
Alduy will be charged with deploying pay offering son the internet and developing new multichannel distribution networks on the web.
Canal OTT groups together new content intitiatives led by Fabienne Fourquet, the Canalplay online player, helmed by Patrick Holzman, and Canal+ International, led by Jean-Marc Juramie. It also integrates with the Digital Experience unit headed by Lucas Serralta.
Alduy will report to Alice Holzman and Maxime Saada. He was previously director of Canal+ Group’s cinema unit.
Nathalie Coste Cerdan has meanwhile been named as Canal+ Group’s director of cinema in Alduy’s place. She was previously in charge of the group’s thematic cinema unit.
