Eurosport ties up French Open tennis rights until 2021

The Eurosport Group has signed a new long-term partnership with the Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT), giving it pan-European coverage rights for French Open tennis at Roland Garros until 2021.

The new deal covers live TV and digital rights in all of Eurosport’s European territories – excluding host country France – and grants Eurosport all rights in 13 markets, including Spain and Italy, and exclusive pay TV rights across Europe.

The French Open will continue air on the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels, as well as on PC, mobile, tablets and connected TV via the Eurosport Player online TV service.

“Eurosport is a key partner for us. Eurosport’s experience and top quality live coverage of the past 25 editions of Roland Garros contributes hugely to the international fame of our tournament,” said Michel Grach, FFT’s director of media and sponsorship.
