Pioneer hires BBC innovation chief

Factual programme producer Pioneer Productions has named BBC TV’s head of innovation as its new creative director.

Ailsa Orr, head of BBC Television’s Innovation Unit, will join Pioneer, producer of shows including Storm City for Sky 3D, Drugged for National Geographic and Where Did Humans Come From? For Discovery, in November.
