Demand 5 launches on Freesat’s freetime

UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5’s catch-up service Demand 5 has launched on freetime, the connected TV service of free-to-air satellite platform Freesat.

Freetime already offers the on-demand players of the UK’s other main broadcasters – 4oD, ITV Player and BBC iPlayer – meaning that the service is the only satellite TV provider with all full player apps.

Demand 5 offers freetime users a range of catch-up programming via the service’s backwards EPG, with over 600 programmes available at launch.
