Knowledge Network launches on Roku

Educational channel the Knowledge Network has launched on Roku boxes, in partnership with broadcast technology firm TelVue Corporation. 

The Knowledge Network airs educational programs and scientific research from a consortium of universities led by the National Science Foundation – a US government agency.

The Knowledge Network is powered by the TelVue CloudCast hosted broadcast service, which enables delivery to Roku, web-based scheduling of the linear channel and management of the on-demand videos.

The channel includes documentary-length productions, public lectures, science and technology news features, and short-form public educational materials.
