Hulu has revamped its Hulu Plus user experience for Samsung smart TVs, Blu-ray players and Roku set-top boxes, with the improvements to follow on Nintendo Wii consoles “soon”.
The update includes a new search experience that Hulu says will make it simpler to find content, a new interface with larger artwork, a “tray-style format” that lets users scroll through recommendations and popular content, and a ‘Shows You Watch’ feature for skipping to new episodes of regularly watched programmes.
Other inclusions are access to the Hulu Kids section and simple sign-up access to Hulu Plus from within the app. The move follows a living room revamp for Hulu Plus on PlayStation 3 consoles in September.
