Russian service provider Akado is reorganising and simplified its structure, combining a range of operating entities into a unified entity, according to local reports.
Akado has completed the first phase of the reorganization, combining a number of different providers into single service providers serving Moscow, St Petersburg and Yekaterinburg respectively.
As well as simplifying its structure in Moscow, Akado has combined Sertolovo TV and Vsevolzhsk Telecom in St Petersburg into a single company, TAS-Neva, while Orticor and Olympus NSP in Yekaterinburg have been combined as Akado Yekaterinburg.
The next stage will be to unify regional units into a single company.
According to Akado, the initial reorganisation has already contributed to a growth in EBITDA of 25% for 2012, with EBITDA margin growing from 33% to 38%.
