Avail-TVN and On Demand Group become Vubiquity

US video services group Avail-TVN and its subsidiary, UK-based On Demand Group, have announced a new global brand identity.

The joint company will now be known as Vubiquity, offering managed services and on-demand content in partnership with over 340 content providers and 270 service providers.

Vubiquity’s services current reach over 77 million households in 28 countries, according to the company. In the past two years Avail-TVN launched a satellite-fibre hybrid distribution platform and the ViewNow subscription video-on-demand platform, as well as an advanced advertising service.

“The multiplatform video ecosystem has changed profoundly over the last three- years, and it continues to evolve at a rapid pace,” said Ramu Potarazu, Vubiquity’s CEO. “Today, our content and service provider partners are focused on delivering the best quality video experience to consumers, regardless of the device they are using or where they use it.  Consumers are quickly coming to expect ubiquitous viewing and Vubiquity provides our customers the breadth of services, expertise, and technologies to enable it – and we do it in more languages, in more countries, and for more content and service providers than anyone else.”
