MYTF1 app passes five million downloads

French broadcaster TF1’s MYTF1 on-demand app for smartphones and tablet computers has passed the five million download mark for the first time. According to the Apple App Store, the MYTF1 app was the 20^th most downloaded free app last year. 

MYTF1 makes over 80 hours of programming available each week for at least seven days. It offers additional functionality on iOS devices that allows interaction with programmes and synchronisation of second screen activity. An Android version of this is set to follow soon.
