UK channels group UKTV has secured a deal for a fourth channel spot on the country’s DTT network.
The BBC and Scripps Network Interactive-owned broadcaster will fill the slot on channel 25 with catch-up channel Dave Ja Vu for a limited time from January 2013 until UKTV firms up permanent plans for it.
UKTV was the UK’s fastest growing TV network in the first six months of the year, averaging a 4.41% share of viewing, which was up 14% year-on-year.
