Maxdome launches on PS3

German video-on-demand service Maxdome has launched a Playstation 3 app with help from interactive TV specialist Accedo.

The app, which was developed by Accedo, gives PS3 users access to a catalogue of Maxdome video titles, including films, series, comedy shows, documentaries, music videos and children’s programmes.

Earlier this year, Accedo signed a deal with Maxdome to develop next-generation smart TV apps for multiple platforms.

“This is an important platform for extending our reach in the living room,” said Robert Dube, head of product and channel management, Maxdome. “Accedo has extensive experience in creating TV apps for multiple platforms and was therefore a natural choice for us to partner with on this project.”
