Piotr Walter is to join Polish broadcaster TVN Group’s supervisory board and the executive committee of holding company ITI Group, succeeding his father, who co-founded the company, and will leave the management board of TVN SA.
Walter, who served on the TV management board for 11 year and is the son of TVN co-founder Mariusz Walter, said: “Within our family we planned already a long time ago my succession to my father’s role at the executive committee of ITI Group. At the same time, looking back I am proud and pleased for what we have accomplished at TVN and I would like to thank everyone who supported our success. The new management board under the leadership of Markus Tellenbach combines unique talents, know-how and entrepreneurial spirit to drive TVN into a successful future.”
