Facebook gears up for Olympics coverage

Social network Facebook is working with TV rights holders including NBC in the US and the BBC in the UK to bring coverage of the upcoming London Olympics to the social network.

The company inked a deal with US rights holder NBC yesterday and will carry exclusive Olympics content online. The BBC, meanwhile, plans to stream some Olympics coverage on Facebook.
