EBU in Wimbledon distribution deal

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will continue to distribute the rights to the Wimbledon tennis tournament until 2014 after signing a new deal with The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

The EBU’s sports content distributor, Eurovision, will provide various services during the annual tournament, including global delivery of the World Feed in HD and a 10-court package for the European market in HD.

The deal was awarded by IMG Media, Wimbledon’s official production partner.
