UK online TV service SeeSaw has closed down.
The end of SeeSaw comes after Bebo owners Criterion Capital Partners, which acquired a majority stake in the online TV service in July, failed to find new funding for the project.
The website, which grew out of the BBC’s abortive Project Kangaroo, the technology for which was acquired by media services provider Arqiva, was launched in February last year, offering content from BBC Worldwide, Channel 4 and Channel Five. However, Channel 4 and Channel Five withdrew from SeeSaw in September.
