UK free-to-air satellite platform Freesat has added the Argos TV shopping channel to its line-up.
Freesat has also confirmed that it will add Chinese news service CCTV-News to its line-up later this month. The Chinese service will be available on channel 211 on the platform.
Argos TV, the shopping channel launched by the UK retail chain of the same name, will be available on Freesat channel 819.
Darren Frost, head of Argos TV said: “We are very excited about the launch of Argos TV shopping channel on Freesat as it gives us the opportunity to reach substantially more customers with another way to explore and shop the Argos range. Viewers will be able to watch the same shows at the same time that they are available elsewhere, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
