Fox International Channels is launching a round-the-clock cooking channel in the Netherlands. 24Kitchen will roll out on on October 1 on the Ziggo, UPC, Caiway and Glashart’s pay TV services, reaching three million viewers.
The channel will be a joint venture between Fox Channels Benelux and food and cosmetics firm Jan Dekker Holding. It will be wholly programmed with exclusive, original content with shows presented by Dutch chefs including Rudolph van Veen and Angélique Schmeinck.
“24Kitchen is FIC’s first fully local lifestyle channel in Europe,” said Jesús Perezagua, president FIC Europe & Africa. “The Netherlands is a priority market for FIC. Its fast digital roll out and dynamic production community make it an ideal market for 24Kitchen and a great launching pad from which to take this channel to the rest of Europe.”
