PrimeTel to commericalise TV platform

Cypriot telecom operator PrimeTel is to begin commercialising its triple-play technology platform, Twister, at the forthcoming IBC trade show. The platform includes PrimeTel’s IPTV middleware Prime TV with new IPTV interactive advertising functionality.

Akado adds SET and Live to analogue tier

Russian service provider Akado has added Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and Russian fitness channel Live to its analogue tier. Both channels launched in analogue on September 1 as part of Akado’s strategy of bringing previously digital-only channels to its analogue customers. 

ITV close to Ball appointment
