BBC Worldwide names content acquisition chief

BBC Worldwide has named Caroline Torrance as director of investment, heading its content acquisition team.

Torrance, who was previously director of scripted programming and distribution at producer Endemol, takes over from Matt Forde, who has been promoted to the new role of executive vice-president, sales and distribution and co-production, based in New York.
