Blok takes over at KPN

Eelco Blok has taken over from Ad Scheepbouwer as CEO of Dutch telco KPN.

Blok has been a member of KPN’s board of management since 2005, taking time out to serve as chief operating officer, fixed corporate strategy and innovation officer in 2005-06. He was most recently responsible for the company;’s Mobile International and iBasis businesses before being appointed chief operating officer in October last year.
