TV4 adds Bollywood content to Play premium offering

Swedish broadcaster TV4 is adding Bollywood content from Kanal Global to its TV4 Play premium online live and on-demand service.

Kanal Global will become part of the TV4 Play premium offering from June 3, making content from the service available on devices including tablets, mobile phones and PCs.

In addition to Bollywood content, Kanal Global also offers a mix of shows from other parts of the world, including Brazilian telenovelas.

The service, which will be available as VOD and live streams, will replace TV11, which TV4 has sold to SBS Discovery Media. A number of popular shows from TV11, including Big Brother, will still available via TV4 Play.
