Telekom Slovenije taps VO for TViN OTT TV service
Slovenian telco Telekom Slovenije has chosen Viacess-Orca’s Connected Sentinel Player to support its TViN multiscreen OTT TV service.
TViN is currently available to Telekom Slovenije subscribers in the Slovenia and delivered as a white-label offering in other countries throughout the Balkan region.
The Connected Sentinel Player is a multiplatform media player that includes DRM for premium VoD and live content.
Using the downloadable player, Telekom Slovenije can protect TViN content delivered to Android and iOS devices. Viaccess-Orca’s player supports Microsoft PlayReady as well as the company’s proprietary DRM, integrated with media playback technology by VisualOn’s OnStream MediaPlayer+. The player supports live TV, catch-up TV, remote PVR, and EPGs, as well as cloud-based storage and transcoding.
