Numericable launches World Cup app for LaBox Fibre

French cable operator Numericable has launched an applicaton and portal for the football World Cup for its LaBox service.

The service, LaBox Fibre Brésil 2014, includes the ability to record matches or restart matches. The dedicated portal, created by Dotscreen, includes a section focused on ‘Headlines’, covering daily news on fixtures and programmes that also allows users to programme the recording of matches and set reminders.

Other features on the portal include ‘Teams’ with the list of teams in each group and their fixtures, ‘Results’ showing the results of matches and ‘Around the World Cup’ with links to programmes connected to the even on other Numericable channels.
