LG webOS TV sales top one million

TV manufacturer LG has now sold over one million of its webOS-enabled smart TVs following the launch of the new Smart+ TV platform in January.

LG, which launched a range of new models in March, predicts that it will sell 10 million of the devices by the first half of next year.

According to LG, webOS TVs will be available in over 150 markets by the end of this month.

LG acquired webOS from HP last year to support its next-generation smart TV technology.
