CTC Media appoints board member

Russian broadcaster CTC Media has appointed an executive at ABR Management, the corporate management company for the Bank Rossiya group, to its board of directors. 

Alexander Pentya replaces Dmitry Lebedev, who has resigned from the board. Lebedev joined in 2011 and was nominated for re-election to the board by CTC back in April.

Pentya has served as vice president and head of the management reporting and investment projects department at ABR Management since 2012. He has been an observer to the board of directors of CTC Media since 2011 and joined the Bank Rossiya group in 2008.

Telcrest Investments Limited, one of CTC Media’s major shareholders and an affiliate of Bank Rossiya, backed Pentya’s appointment.
