Orange TV Spain launches on Apple TV

Orange TV España is being made available via Apple TV devices from this month.

Orange said that its customers with Apple TV boxes would be able to enjoy content including its football offering. Orange is the only alternative provider of both first and second tier LaLiga football – LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion – in Spain to Telefónica’s Movistar Plus+. It also offers all UEFA Champions League and Europa League games.

Orange is making its TV service, which comprises over 100 channels including movies and series, news, documentaries and kids channels as well as the country’s digital-terrestrial TV services, along with an on-demand catalogue of over 50,000 titles and episodes, available via Apple TV.

Orange is also debuting two new channels on its service: LaLiga+, the new channel provided by LaLiga itself which provides coverage of a wide variety of sports and completions, and Nautical Channel, dedicted to nautical-themed programming.

Orange TV viewers using Apple TV will be able to make use of all the service’s advanced functionalities including recording, startover TV, seven-day catch-up TV, search by voice, parental control and access via multiple devices simultaneously.
