United Group hires Tomislav Čizmić as CEO, Telemach Slovenia

Under his leadership, Telemach has the fastest growing subscriber base in Slovenia, becoming the leading broadband operator in the country, according to the company.

The former boss will continue to head the Croatian division where he was behind the integration of Tele2, Optima and Total TV into one single converged operator and drove a rollout of fiber networks across Croatia.

Tomislav joins Telemach Slovenia on November 7, with 25 years of leadership experience. He was most recently at Mercator Group as president of the management board for six years. Prior to being appointed to this position, he held various executive roles across Mercator’s regional operations. He has also held executive positions in the automotive sector in Southeast Europe including with ACH Group and Dicar d.d. Budget Car Rental.
