Jan Willem Van Bokhoven, director of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Colombia, said: “We are delighted to welcome Divitel to Colombia. This is a major vote of confidence in the country’s digital TV market, and it is a testament to the Dutch business community’s commitment to investing in Colombia. We are confident that Divitel will be a valuable asset to the Colombian economy, and we look forward to working with them to grow the digital TV market in the country.”

Balinge said: “This new role is both an honour and an exciting challenge. I’m eager to drive our mission in the flourishing video delivery markets of the Caribbean and LatAm. Given my Caribbean roots and profound appreciation for Latin American culture, this feels like a homecoming.”

Divitel’s CEO and founder, Hans Kornmann, said, “Our unique observability approach has transformed European operators, significantly boosting their margins and propelling their NPS scores from -20 to +10 through operational efficiency. This expansion into Latam is our next step in replicating that success for operators in the Caribbean and LatAm regions.”
