Greece’s Cosmote TV renews FIM MotoGP broadcasting deal

Greek pay TV platform Cosmote TV has renewed its broadcasting deal with FIM MotoGP World Championship through to 2026.

Cosmote TV will continue to exclusively broadcast the motorcycle racing circuit in Greece on Cosmote Sport channels as part of the extended three-year contract.

MotoGP coverage will include all of the Grands Prix, practice sessions, qualifying and the new Tissot Sprint.

The Greek provider will also broadcast all Moto2 and Moto3 races, as well as those of the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

The renewed deal marks an 11-year partnership between Cosmote TV and FIM MotoGP World Championship in Greece.

Motorcycling sport is run, at FIM World Championships and Prizes level, in seven different disciplines covering more than 100 categories.

Viaplay Group extended its exclusive rights to the FIM MotoGP in February, with the Nordic streaming service to air up to 400 live hours of the leading motorcycle racing championship every year through until 2028.

Cosmote TV portfolio of sports rights in Greece also include the Saudi Pro League, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
