DAZN taps GeoComply to counter location spoofing

Sports streamer DAZN has chosen anti-fraud and geolocation technology specialist GeoComply Solutions to use its GeoGuard offering to protect it against usage of VPNs, Tors, Proxies, and other advanced location spoofing techniques.

DAZN is using GeoComply’s technology to provide a secure and reliable solution that ensures robust geo-blocking and reduces the risk of fraudulent activity, the tech outfit said.

GeoGuard claims to detect 98% of all anonymous IPs with an advanced rules engine, with an ultra-low false positive rate, and hourly updates.
