Narrative Entertainment launches POP MAX across the UK

UK independent TV broadcaster Narrative Entertainment has announced it will launch its kids channel POP MAX nationwide on July 19.

The POP MAX, airs shows aimed at 6 to 10-year-olds including Miraculous, Pokémon, and Total DramaRama. The channel has previously only been available on linear TV on digital satellite.

POP will also be making the move from linear nationwide broadcast to local regions on the same date.

POP content will still be accessible nationwide via the recently launched POP Kids FAST channel and the POP Player.

According to Narrative Entertainment, POP MAX has more than doubled its commercial impacts year on year, gaining the most out of all Kids commercial channels so far in 2023.

The portfolio’s digital presence is key and with the launch of our FAST channel POP Kids in November last year and the further growth and development of the POP Player, there are now more ways than ever to watch the channels and explore the rich array of content available.”

Narrative Entertainment’s portfolio also includes free over-the-air (OTA) channels GREAT! movies, GREAT! action, GREAT! romance, GREAT! christmas and GREAT! tv; as well as the GREAT! FAST channels, which launched on Samsung TV last year.
