SkyShowtime strikes first Portuguese distribution deal with Meo

skyshowtime meoComcast-Paramount Global streaming JV SkyShowtime has secured a distribution deal with Altice-owned Portuguese telco Meo that will bring SkyShowtime to millions of additional households in Portugal. The deal represents SkyShowtime’s first MVPD relationship in the Portuguese market, with the SkyShowtime app available on Meo’s platform beginning today. 

SkyShowtime’s exclusive series and first-run Hollywood movies will be offered to Meo’s new TV customers as an option in the Fibra M3 and Fibra M4 packages for only €1 more.

SkyShowtime will also be available to Meo’s existing customers on an a la carte basis.

At launch, subscribers will be able to enjoy movies such as Jurassic World Dominion, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and the Top Gun: Maverick.

SkyShowtime also features new series including Yellowstone, 1883 and 1923, Mayor of Kingstown, and Tulsa King.

SkyShowtime’s monthly price in Portugal is €4.99.

All customers, including new customers, can get their SkyShowtime subscription directly through Meo, where their subscription fee is billed via one single invoice.
