Sky Sports extends broadcasting deal with USGA

Sky Sports has renewed its partnership with the USGA, to broadcast the US Open Championship for a further three years.

Per the deal, Sky Sports will continue to broadcast the US Open on its platforms through to 2025. This includes coverage of the 2024 contest at Pinehurst and the 2025 event at Oakmont along with the US Women’s Open and a host of other USGA events.

Sky Sports will also provide coverage on the US Amateur Championship US Women’s Amateur Championship and the US Senior Open.

Sky Sports is the home of live golf in the UK and Ireland, with all four men’s majors and all five women’s majors aired exclusively live on Sky Sports Golf.

The PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA Tour, Ladies European Tour, the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup contest will be broadcasted on Sky Sports this September.

Sky Sports has also recently secured a £935m deal for the broadcasting rights to EFL across a five-year period with over 1,000 matches each season aired across the network’s channels. Running from the 2024/25 season to the 2028/29 season, the agreement will be made up of guaranteed payments of £895m and £40m in marketing benefits. A total, 1,059 EFL matches will be broadcasted exclusively across Sky Sports channels or live via a Sky Sports streaming destination
