M7 Group strikes satellite distribution deal with A+E Networks

Canal+-owned M7 Group has secured a multi-year capacity deal with A+E Networks EMEA for the satellite distribution of its flagship History and Crime+Investigation channels across Europe.

Per the agreement, A+E Networks EMEA will deliver the channels via the M7 satellite platform on 1 degree West within the Europe-wide footprint of Thor 5.

The two companies have been long-standing partners for the various European markets served by M7, primarily for channel distribution. M7 Platform Services will be responsible of the satellite distribution of the channels and will assist in providing support to A+E Networks’ affiliate customers.
