Dutch platform T-Mobile NL has unveiled an alliance with test automation and monitoring specialist Witbe. The goal of the partnership is to maintain the quality of T-Mobile NL’s IPTV services – which are delivered to end users across consumer video devices such as set-top boxes, smart TVs, and mobile applications.

Witbe’s technology allows clients like T-Mobile NL to test and review their IPTV services automatically. Its products use a proprietary algorithm to test audio and visual quality of video content without any reference stream, just like the human eye.

Duska Saric, product owner, IPTV at T-Mobile NL, commented: “Nothing is more important to us than our customers receiving the highest quality of service. With Witbe, T-Mobile NL will be able to ensure the quality of service with ease and confidence”.

Witbe CEO Mathieu Planche said: “We are thrilled to partner with T-Mobile NL to help deliver excellent service to its European customers. We are confident that our new lineup of Witbox products will help T-Mobile NL achieve its goals much more efficiently and on a much larger scale than previously possible”.

Witbe has a global footprint and works with the likes of Canal+, Orange, Comcast, Vodafone and Disney+. Already this month, it has announced plans to open a new headquarters in Singapore to drive growth in the Asia-Pacific market.
