Vodafone Deutschland adds Sky One HD on-demand offering

Vodafone Deutschland has struck a deal to add Sky One HD content, including originals and a new dedicated on-demand offering, to its GigaTV line-up.

Vodafone Premium pay TV customers will be able to access a selection of Sky One HD content in the on-demand offering, in future, Vodafone will offer customers over 1,000 on-demand titles from a new Sky One Mediathek offering.

Content currently available includes La Brea, Hawaii Five O, A Discovery of Witches and Der Pass. Entertainment formats such as Die Ochsenknechts, Harry Potter’s 20th Anniversary and Celebrity Masterchef are also available.

The Sky One linear channel has been available in HD since January for all Vodafone customers who take the Vodafone Premium pay TV package.

Vodafone said the range of Sky content available would be regularly expanded to include new titles.
