M7 Group hires Liberty Global veteran Bergman as content and business development board member

Canal+-owned M7 Group has announced the appointment of Jeroen Bergman as board member for content and business development.

The executive replaces Bert Habets who resigned from the M7 Board at the end of 2022. 

Bergman has a storied career including 20 years at Liberty Global where he was responsible for all programming and content acquisition. Prior to that Bergman served as commercial director for Dutch cable company Casema (known known as Ziggo). Since 2019, he has managed the Film1 and Filmbox business in the Netherlands for SPI International.

At M7, Bergman will be charged with content acquisition, while also steering the closing of content partnerships with key telco operators within the M7 footprint.
