Digi launches new mobile sports app

Romania-based service provider Digi has launched a new mobile sports app, providing access on the go to sports fans to streaming content and information.

The app includes a ‘reminder’ function that will notify users that they can watch key matches and competitions via the Digi Sport TV channels on any device.

Digi will provide live-streams of all four of its sports TV channels through the app well as the digisport.ro website.

The app provides text-based as well as live video coverage of sports as well as highlights videos and news.

The Digi app can also be personalised , enabling users to highlight the sports ofmost interest to them via notifications.

Digi holds the rights in Romania to top-tier Romanian football from Liga 1 and 2 and the Romanian Cup, as well as international football competitions LaLiga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.

It also airs coverage of European and world handball as well as Formula 1 and MotoGP, and exclusive coverage of WTA tournament tennis until 2023.
